So I couldn’t be there, due to work but N graduated to the next level@kumon!! That means that she has mastered ひらがな と カタカナ (hiragana and katakana) the two primary forms of Japanese language. We’re taking this milestone to take a break from Japanese and shift focus to English so that we can get her English reading and writing skills above grade level like her Japanese is. At this point in our overseas lives between her nanny, school, after school care and after school activities N spends 12-14 hours a day, 5 days a week immersed in Japanese.
