Matthew and I decided that we would try to stop being so insular. Those who follow us on Facebook are probably thinking ‘They’re  always out and about!’ and we are, but usually as a family unit. We do very little with other people. So 2016 was the year we decided to increase our socializing. The Yokosuka chapter of the AKAs hosted a Denim&Pearls affair. It was a good time to go out and hang. I met some nice ladies for future girls night. I got to put on make-up (Na’ilah got to watch me put it on which was a first) and it was fun. Not something I see is doing weekly, but definitely good for a M-1R check…
