Now that Sakura season is over it’s time to get out and visit all the other great locations around the area that give you the opportunity to get outside and see beautiful flowers.

If you haven’t been to the Hakone area, this is just one more reason to add to the list of reasons why.

The festival was an EASY drive to get to and it was a CASH only adventure. Best to get cash before leaving base as once you get to the mountains combinis are few and far between.

You’ll need to purchase tickets from the machine for your party and also pay for parking upon entry. You’ll get a ticket to place on your dashboard.

There are food stalls there with a variety of gastronomic delights. There is also indoor and indoor and outdoor seating areas to enjoy the view while eating.

Make sure to go up on the platform for a great photo op and don’t worry, this place is EXTREMELY stroller friendly
